Charlotte, NC – April 29, 2015 – NC State Industrial Extension Service (IES), the solutions-based, industry and business focused unit of NC State University, today announced that its Director of Business Growth and Innovation, Kevin Grayson, will lead an innovation engineering workshop at the IndustryWeek Best Plants Conference and Expo occurring May 4-6 at the Charlotte Convention Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The workshop, titled “Innovation Engineering—From Random Gamble to Reliable System,” will take place on Monday, May 4 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Grayson will present a proven process to “ideate”, test, maintain and sustain an innovation strategy, one that is essential to the survival and prosperity for every type of organization. “IndustryWeek Best Plants Conference and Expo is important to the industry because of its dedication to helping manufacturing facilities improve their operations through the theme of continuous improvement,” said Phil Mintz, IES Associate Executive Director and Director, North Carolina Manufacturing Extension Partnership. “We are proud to make a contribution to this event.”
IES will host an exhibit in booth #117 where senior staff members will be available to take questions and discuss the organization’s service and solution offerings.
